Interdisciplinary Wellness Workshop

September 8, 2019 1-5pm at Anandaworks

One-time workshop to learn about Interdisciplinary Wellness: combining more than one branch of knowledge to generate efficient and optimal health that works for YOU. Workshop is designed to be comprehensive and not-overwhelming. Lynn Buske shares her lifelong healing journey and exposure to how the pieces fit together and understanding health can be simple. Tools for you and your family! Focus is on prevention, but she can refer you for specific health issues. Hearty snacks will be served. Love donations toward non-profit programs (suggested $20), no one will be turned away until workshop is filled. Register by Sept 1, 2019 to baredfeet@gmail.com

Chair Yoga

Ongoing: Wednesdays 2-3pm at First Presbyterian Church, Pine Tree Haven Room

Join this long-standing, FREE Chair Yoga class for all abilities.  Get a full-body workout with the support of a chair for more intention in your poses.  Gain pain relief, mindfulness, peace, joy and tools for embodied wellness!  Thoughtful reflections and gratitude sharing is built-in. Taught by Lynn Buske of BaredFeet, Co. with 18 years of experience. Drop-ins VERY welcome or contact baredfeet@gmail.com with questions or to let us know you are coming.  This is such an amazing class – chair yoga is NOT just for seniors.  It is for folks who really want to focus on the gifts the 8 limbs of yoga have to offer, without the distractions of self-image goals, peer pressure or overstimulation from regular yoga. Leave feeling centered, spiritually connected, strong and balanced (full body workout), relieved from anxiousness, embodied and connected to self.  

Toddler-Caregiver Movement

Saturdays Oct 5-Dec 21 11-11:45am at Anandaworks

Over the many years this is my favorite class.  There isn’t a lot of options for caregivers and their toddler, especially for movement.  In this class support their movement development, find joy in creativity and play together, meet other families and get a re-set for yourself! COME especially on the days where you don’t think they will behave! Full classes work best so come regularly.  Low expectations, high results! Donation class. Adult Dance-Yoga

Tuesdays Oct 1-Dec 11 from 6:30-7:30pm

You asked for more!  Embodiment, conditioning and dance flow in this “yoga” class like only BaredFeet can offer!  NOT for beginners, though no one is turned away! Drop-in donation class.  Keep an eye on Facebook to mark your attendance, or email baredfeet@gmail.com to let us know you’ll be coming.

Tween Dance

Wednesdays Nov 6-Dec 18 4:30-5:30pm

It has been far too long since this class has been offered! We were found on this very class! Let your tween, age 9-13, discover dance for themselves – learn about their body, gain awareness and movement skills, low-stress exposure to a variety of styles, and plenty of creative expression time! No expensive costumes, low pressure, high focus on the wellness and safety of your child who loves to move! 7-week donation class. REGISTER FOR THIS ONE: Email baredfeet@gmail.com
